Emre Kara has been appointed as CCO (Chief Commercial Officer) as of June 1, 2021, at ShipsGo, which has provided global digital services in container tracking and networking since 2016 and exports to more than 60 countries.

Global container shipping platform ShipsGo, which received investment from an international fund in December 2020, is starting a new era with top-level assignments.

Emre Kara has been appointed as CCO (Chief Commercial Officer) as of June 1, 2021, at ShipsGo, which has provided global digital services in container tracking and networking since 2016 and exports to more than 60 countries.

Emre Kara graduated from Dokuz Eylul University, Maritime Faculty, and started his career as a line executive in the Turkon Container Transport and Shipping in 2004. After six years of several experiences at Turkon, he took on the positions of “Turkey and Middle East Logistics Coordinator”, “Northern Europe Regional Logistics Manager’’ and recently acted as ‘Middle East Transportation Manager” since 2010 at Vestas, one of the global enterprises of the sustainable energy sector. Kara will continue his career as the CCO of ShipsGo as of June 1, 2021, with his managerial experience at a global level.
