Based on Academic Literature
The ShipsGo methodology is based on the current academic and scientific literature. With the participation of the University academicians, two granted projects are continuing for the development of the measurement process.
Compliant and up-to-date
The current methodology includes the EN 16258 and ISO14083 compliant calculation. The core sources for the calculation are continuously monitored and updated by our academic methodology developers.
Data Analytics-Driven
ShipsGo monitors every movement of each container during the voyage from the Port of Loading (POL) to Port of Discharge (POD) and collects reliable data on transit times, port waiting times, and gate-out times. Thanks to advanced analytics such as regression models and machine learning, the ShipsGo team achieves data analytics-driven calculation for each container.
Customized Results
ShipsGo shares customized results for each customer based on every single container. The results include transport transit times, energy consumption, greenhouse gases CO₂ and CO₂ equivalents, air pollutants SOx, NOx, NMHC, and PM10.
