What kind of sources do you use for getting status of a container and how often do you send a notification mail?
After getting your tracking request. We find the vessel that your container is or is going to be carried. In this phase, we use the carriers' database. Then we assign the vessel to your container. After assigning, we use our AIS based vessel tracking technology to track vessel until destination ports. In this way, you can also follow your container from Live Map.
We send sailing notification mail twice; the first time you send tracking request to the system and the day ship has actually arrived.
You can also reach your mail any time in your dashboard at the route of "MyShipmet ->Notification -> Email Preview" and send notification e-mail anyone you want by clicking "Send Email"
